Also, I have a habit of keeping compliments in my inbox so I can look at them when I’m feeling down! Please don’t think I’m ignoring you or dislike talking with you because that’s never the case!

Why do you like The Lion King?

That’s a good question. A question that I can’t answer with a simple answer, i don’t even know where to begin. Ever since i was young i remember watching this movie and it making me genuinely happy. I watched it every single day 3-4 times. This movie became my childhood obsession. It became even more important to me when my auntie died. The Lion King helped me cope with my grief. Every time I saw Mufasa die, I allowed myself to cry for Simba and the loss of my own aunt who was like a mother to me. I suppose it’s just a beautiful and ”inspirational” Movie with likeable characters and great songs, The Lion king will be forever in my heart. Nowadays i love the feel of nostalgia i get everytime i watch this movie. The Lion King my sanctuary, my comfort-zone.

Who is your favourite character & why?

Mine would have to be Simba. Yes very original, I know but I love the changes he goes through. He’s a very well developed character with such a great story. Hes funny, handsome and has a great smile. also I certainly can relate to him, especially with his epic struggle with responsibility and a death of a family member.

What’s your favorite moment in the The Lion King?

Oh man, that’s tough…I have to say that my personal favourite is when Mufasa and Simba are having a father and son moment in the The Great Kings Of The Past scene, it’s so powerful! You get to see more of Mufasa and Simba’s bond and how close they are to each other. The music is really powerful too, especially when they both start running around, it brings a tear in my eye.

Did you watch The Lion King in 3D?

I sure did, I made a post about it here.

Have you seen the Musical?

I have indeed, It was amazing! read more on my thoughts here.
